27+ Years of Experience
I will use my 27+ years of experience in Home Inspections, remodeling, and home repairs to inspect your potential home as if I was purchasing it for my family.
Certified Master Inspector
I have earned my designation as a Certified Master Inspector, at a minimum this shows that I have completed at least 1000 home inspections, hundreds of hours of education in related fields, and been in business for a minimum of three years.
Always Up-to-Date With Trends
I constantly study building-related materials, instruction manuals, installation guides, etc. to stay on top of the ever-changing building industry. As well as traveling whenever possible to take continuing education from the foremost experts in the building industry in the nation. I also consult these individuals whenever needed to gain their insight into unconventional installations.I will not rush a home inspection, regardless if it takes 3 hours or 5 hours, everything will be evaluated thoroughly and in detail.
Free Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging is used on every Home Inspection for no additional fee. Thermal Imaging is a must and is an excellent tool to find insulation deficiencies, moisture intrusion, electrical hot spots, etc.
Exceeding the Standards
According to the State of Tennessee standards of practice, walking a roof is "optional" for all Home Inspectors. I attempt to walk every roof (within reason). If the roof is too steep to be walked, I utilize an aerial drone that takes HD photos that are included in the report, instead of simply reporting on its condition from the ground.
Thorough Structural Inspections
Foundations and attics are two areas that I pay particular attention to, these are the two most important areas structurally in a home. Ensuring there is no moisture intrusion, damage, or framing deficiencies or alterations is a priority.
Carbon Monoxide Sensor
For homes with gas appliances, fireplaces, furnaces, etc; I wear a carbon monoxide sensor during the inspection to alert me to possible deficiencies with the venting of these units. I also use a combustion gas detector to ensure no gas leaks are present in visible portions of the gas pipes.
Care Backed With Experience
I take pride in everything I do, as well as giving my all. That's exactly what you get from me in a Home Inspection. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and my expertise. I would appreciate the opportunity to inspect your next home.
